Where Real
Problems Inspire Real Innovation

KnickKnack Aquatics began the same way many aquarium breakthroughs do — in the middle of a challenge. During the supply shortages of 2020, our tanks in Mid-Missouri faced an unexpected snail outbreak. When no good solutions existed, we made our own.

That first 3D-printed fix not only worked — it sparked a mission to reinvent fishkeeping through smarter, sustainable design.

From DIY Fix to
Flagship Design

What started as a homemade snail trap soon caught the attention of aquarists across the community. The success of that design showed us something important: when everyday aquarium frustrations meet hands-on creativity, innovation happens.

That spirit drives every KnickKnack product we create — practical, tested, and made to make fishkeeping simpler for everyone.

Made in Missouri. Powered by the Sun.

Every KnickKnack creation is designed, printed, and tested locally in our solar-powered Mid-Missouri workshop using aquarium-safe PLA+. Keeping production in-house lets us stay hands-on with quality, minimize waste, and ensure every piece leaving our print farm is eco-friendly and tank-ready.
